Inform. Educate. Empower.

Three powerful words are at the heart of LiSA Initiative (LiSA), a grassroots movement created by First Financial Security, Inc. to address the financial concerns that women and their families experience every day in this country.

Three simple words that not only characterize what we do, but also are the keys to helping all Americans achieve financial security and the peace of mind that comes with it.

We are LiSA Initiative.  We believe there is power in knowledge. We’re committed to bringing financial literacy to all people and the communities across the country where they live and work.

When people have a solid financial education, they are more confident and motivated to take control of their lives and their future.

Education and Opportunity – Keys to Success

First Financial Security, Inc. (FFS) believes every person should have access to financial education. We know when people understand how money works, they can make smart decisions about their finances on their own.

That’s when they begin to generate the wealth they’ll need to achieve financial security.

Financial education is key to avoiding many of the challenges American families face today. Without this knowledge, people often find themselves living paycheck to paycheck, with crushing debt and lacking the savings to rise above their current circumstances.

LiSA Initiative, Empowering Women, Financial Planning, Financial Literacy, Financial EducationThrough our Changing the Face of Insurance® campaign, we’re determined to bring money management education to all people. We understand it will not be easy. Personal budgets and how money works aren’t taught in U.S. schools. They’re rarely discussed among family members.

To accomplish our goal, we needed a way to get financial literacy to the people who needed it most.

That’s how LiSA Initiative was born.

First Financial Security (FFS) created this grassroots movement to address the financial concerns that women and their families experience every day in this country. One of the biggest obstacles facing many families is they don’t understand how money works.

With its focus on financial literacy and community outreach, LiSA Initiative is a natural for bringing money education to Americans and the communities where they live and work.

LiSA Initiative is the financial literacy arm of FFS, providing education, training, and mentoring to anyone who needs or wants it. LiSA partners with other likeminded individuals and organizations to combat the growing problem of financial illiteracy in this country.

One of these collaborations is with the National Financial Educators Council (NFEC), a well-respected organization that private-labeled LiSA’s curriculum. Known as LiSA Literacy Project, this financial literacy campaign offers two tracks – one for adults and the other for children from pre-K to high school.

Financial Literacy is Key to Helping People Avoid Predatory Lending Trap

This partnership also allows FFS associates who meet certain requirements to earn their Certified Financial Education Instructor (CFEI) license. This professional designation provides FFS associates with access to the LiSA Literacy Project curriculum. Armed with this powerful tool, they can go out into their communities and begin teaching personal money management and more advanced investing classes.

Financial literacy and empowerment go hand-in-hand and are essential to accomplishing our vision – to help all people achieve financial security and peace of mind. But knowing how to make money work for you is only one step toward building a better fiscal future.

FFS also provides an entrepreneurial opportunity that allows people to build an independent business within the financial services industry.

By becoming a FFS associate, you’ll receive tools and training to run your own FFS business. We provide you with a step-by-step system, training, and mentorship from FFS leaders who’ve been right where you are today.

Once you’ve earned your insurance license, you can become appointed with top product providers, many of whom we have developed strong relationships. Since FFS doesn’t create its own products, these partnerships make it possible for you to offer your clients a variety of innovative financial products and services.

Become a FFS associate and help us and LiSA Initiative change the face of insurance.
